What happens if I go over my storage?
Nothing is deleted. You'll be asked to free up space or move to a larger plan before you can add anything new — everything already saved stays exactly where it is, and stays viewable.
Do I pay more for a second child?
No. Every paid plan covers unlimited children, and family sharing is included on all of them. Only storage changes with price.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time, from your App Store subscription settings. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
What happens to my memories if I cancel?
Your vault stays. You move back to the free plan, and if you're over that limit your vault becomes read-only — you can still view and export everything, you just can't add new memories until you free up space or resubscribe. Nothing you've already saved is deleted.
Can I try it before I pay?
Yes — the free plan is the trial, and it doesn't expire. You get 2 GB and one child's vault, with starter allowances for videos, voice memos and letters, for as long as you like. You upgrade when you run out of room, not when a countdown ends.
Why do you charge at all?
Because storing a family's photos and videos safely for years costs real money every month. We'd rather charge a fair price than sell your data or fill the app with ads. There is no advertising in DearBaby and there never will be.
