The Video Year is the same twelve-month board, for video. Every video you take in a month gathers in that month the moment you save it, in the same way and with the same lack of effort.

Choose one video for each month you want to include, and the year plays as a single short film — with a card announcing each month, so the twelve read as a year rather than a pile of clips.

Nothing is edited, generated or chosen for you. Every clip in the film is one you picked, and tapping any of them opens the moment it belongs to.

The problem with a camera roll was never storage. It is that you can never find the one thing you are looking for. Search your whole vault — moments, milestones, first words, letters and albums — and have it back in a couple of seconds.

Results come back grouped by what they are, with the matching words highlighted, so you can tell which memory is the right one before you open it.

Invite grandparents, godparents, the people who actually show up. You invite them by name. There are no public profiles and nothing for a stranger to discover.

Each person gets a role — view, add, or manage — so a grandparent can add the photos from Sunday without being able to change anything else.

Any run of moments can also play back full screen — one photo at a time, with gentle motion and the caption you wrote underneath it — so a year can be watched as easily as it is read.
